Admin Assistant
We are looking for an admin assistant to join our growing team, primarily working under the director to assist with the general day to day running of the business. We are an energetic team working behind the scenes to develop new products and technology for a handful of the world’s biggest brands. We work out of a bright, open plan office close to Bristol city centre with free parking available on-site.

We are looking for a character who has a drive to be part of the winning team and who can keep their cool and get stuck in when deadlines are looming. The role includes:

• Making tea and coffee for clients and general client hospitality
• Ordering and/or collecting supplies
• Managing in-coming emails and ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly
• Helping with the general day to day running of the business ensuring that things are kept organised.
• Keeping the office clean and tidy, general organisation and house-keeping
• Answering and filtering calls/emails
• Recording/authorising holiday/sick days
• Taking accurate messages
• Putting together quotes and invoices
• Managing credit control
• Online researching
• Typing up reports
• Setting meetings and keeping track of the diary
• Taking notes in meetings
• Assisting in process management ensuring that compliance is maintained
• Managing our social media and blog
• Making travel arrangements

Essential skills

• An interest in design and/or technology

We are recruiting for a junior mechanical design engineer join or consultancy team designing consumer products and electronic devices.

We are ideally looking for a candidate who has some experience in design consultancy already and who is comfortable with the demands of working on multiple projects for big clients and working to deadlines.

Experience designing mechanical systems, presenting to clients and a sound knowledge of manufacturing processes is essential as is an eye for aesthetics and good design.

We are ideally looking for a candidate who has a solid background in design consultancy and who is comfortable with the demands of managing multiple projects for big clients and working to deadlines. The ideal candidate is somebody who has experience of taking products successfully to market, dealing directly with clients, managing projects, presenting pitches and delivering great results. Experience designing mechanical systems, presenting to clients and an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes is essential as is an eye for aesthetics and good design. Application process

We offer internship positions to final year students and recent graduates all year round. Internships last for 3 months, we do not run internships which are longer or shorter than this. We only accept applications by email to [email protected], applications must include a CV and recent portfolio of work. You must have completed a degree level qualification and hold or be predicted a 2:1 or above in Product Design or a relevant engineering discipline and be available to work full time for the duration of the internship. Applications must meet these criteria to be considered. Unfortunately due to the high volume of applications we receive we are not able to discuss positions or the progress of applications over the phone.
